10G optical transmitter and receiver XENPAK Transceivers

10G XENPAK Module is a highly integrated, Serial optical transponder module for high-speed, 10Gbit/s data transmission applications. Xenpak transceiver is packed in a 4.8 x 1.4 x 0.7 inch package, use DFB laser components, Xenpak working distance via G652 multimode fiber could reach up to 10km, another important components inside the Xenpak is the MUX/DEMUX parts, it consume 50% of the power and result in the bigger size.XENPAK Transceivers are offered for physical layer interfaces supporting multi-mode and single mode fiber optic cables and InfiniBand copper cables with connectors referred to as CX4. Transmission distances vary from 100 metres (330 ft) to 80 kilometres (50 mi) for fiber and as much as 15 metres (49 ft) on CX4 cable. Newer XENPAKs while using 10GBase-LX4 standard operated using multiple wavelengths on legacy multi-mode fibres at distances of up to 300 metres (980 ft), eliminating the necessity to reinstall cable in a building when upgrading certain 1 Gbit/s circuits to 10 Gbit/s.
This X2 Transceiver Module, like the XENPAK and other SFP plus, are or 10G SFP transceiver, is a hot pluggable in the Z-direction module that is usable in typical router line card applications, telecommunications, Storage, IP network and LAN and compliant to X2 MSA which were made by eight companies including JDSU, NEC, OPNEXT and TYCO, etc. This X2 Transceiver Module is consists of a 10G optical transmitter and receiver, XAUI interface, Mux and Demux with clock and data recovery(CDR).This X2 Transceiver Module support a wide range of 10Gbps standards, include the 10Gbps Ethernet, 10G Fibre Channel, OC192/STM-6 SONET/SDH and OC192 VSR. Our replacements are not the original ones but they are equivalent product only, support the multi mode for 300m and single mode from 10km~80km. They are high performance, cost effective transceiver modules. All our XENPAK Transceivers Module is 100% compatible with major brands like Cisco.
